Height-to-Weight Ratio

RIDER SAFETY: THE HEIGHT-TO-WEIGHT RATIO

The maximum weight of a rider we can accommodate is 230 pounds, however, specific height to weight ratios apply.  Weight restrictions are for guest and horse safety & comfort, not as a means to cause embarrassment or ill will.  We have come to these guidelines based on the age and size of our horses and the terrain we ask them to carry us on.

All riders must have sufficient upper body strength to mount a full-sized horse without assistance and must be in good physical condition to fit comfortably and securely in the saddle. The rider must also have the physical strength to be able to maintain proper balance while riding for the duration of the ride.

Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Bitter Creek Outfitters reserves the right to refuse anyone whom we determine is in poor physical condition or in any way impaired so that they are unable to safely complete a ride. The safety of our guests and our horses is our top priority.
